Mayfield Township is a member of the Lapeer District Library. The Lapeer District Library’s mission is to provide and promote public access to information through a quality collection of materials reflecting all viewpoints and services which fulfill educational, cultural and recreational information needs of the community without discrimination in an atmosphere that is welcoming, respectful and professional.

Preschool Story Hour
Fridays 9:30 - 10:15 am
For children 3 1/2 to 5 years old (not yet in Kindergarten). Children should be comfortable going into room without a caregiver. This group meets during the school year at the deAngeli Branch Library.

Toddler Time
Wednesdays 9:15 - 9:45 am
For children 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old. Caregivers must share the experience with the children. Featuring stories, finger-plays and songs, all geared to the child’s first library experience. This group meets during the school year at the deAngeli Branch Library. Registration is required 810 664-6971.
